Love this place! Went on a date here a couple weeks ago and was surprised by the quality and ambiance this place has, considering it is Eau Claire! Yum.. I'll be back!

Amazing food every time!! The sushi is great and the presentation is really nice as well! I recommend eating at the hibachi Grill for the non sushi lovers because it is quite a fun experience!!

Alway had amazing sushi here but often lacking in friendliness, never rude just not overtly friendly. That was until we had Martin as our server, he was friendly, kind, engaging made our dinner even more enjoyable !' Thanks Martin!!!

Had the sushi and it was gross, I usually go to Chippewa but wanted to stay close. Sushi did not taste fresh and miso soup wasn't so warm. Service wasn't bad but good was. Will never come back to this place.

had three rolls on this visit an all were full of flavor. The service was wonderful as well, she had a refill out to me before my first one was empty and the sushi chefs had a complimentary snack ready for me shortly after getting seated at the sushi bar. Will definitely be back!

Fuji's never disappoints. I've eaten here several times on different occasions including my senior Prom and a random night out. When I chose to eat at the Hibachi grill, the staff was super entertaining (though I didn't catch that slice of broccoli that was thrown in my direction, *sigh) and everything was spot on. The servings for the Hibachi are enormous and delicious (I also got a lot of extras that were sitting on the grill, unclaimed, .. ah nice people are nice). On a booth day, the staff was friendly but not too in-your-face. I love the appetizers, definitely the onion soup! That small bowl is full of so much deliciousness, oh goodness :) And though I haven't specifically tried many different types of sushi, the pieces I did try when ordered a bento box was satisfactory.

Despite driving by Fuji for the past couple years and opting for one of Eau Claire's American style steakhouses instead, this afternoon I opted for a change. I cannot stress how thankful I am that I went for something different... Fuji's lunch special was by far one of the most appetizing things about this place. I opted for the three rolls (6 pieces/roll) and could have not been happier. My choices were as follows: -Spicy Tuna: Perfectly spiced and I could have literally had 1,000 of them. -Spicy Salmon: Slightly less spicy with a surprisingly crisp finish. -Alaskan: Only thing I didn't like about this roll was the "filler cucumber" But all in all, including a side salad and a drink, one would be hard pressed to find the quantity and quality of sushi available at Fuji for $15. Not only is their food satisfying, I found their waiting staff unbelievably accommodating and friendly. Top it off with a casual yet refined atmosphere and you truly have a "lunch special" waiting for you to partake in.

Ate at the hibachi grill. We LOVED it! The food was great and they kept us all entertained! It was a little loud, but it didn't bother us tonight. The martinis were great and very fairly priced. Half price kids meals were a great deal on Sunday night!

Always a great place to eat! Went there for my fiancé's birthday party and it was amazing! The cook kept giving her extra food and calling her "sexy girl". Her grandparents and parents were there as well and the cook asked everyone's name and remember them. At the end they sang happy birthday and have her a $25 gift card! Amazing place!!

My co-worker and I got two sushi platters to share. One was the spider roll and the other I don't remember... but regardless, as soon as I saw the sushi, I knew it was not going to be tasty. And I was right. As for the hibachi, the hibachi chef was really nice. I felt he kept picking on me because I was Asian though. He also squirted sake into people's mouths. That was interesting. Anyway, I got the hibachi steak... it was not that good. Neither were the vegetables, soup, salad, sauce, and fried rice....... I've been to a ton of hibachi/sushi places and this might be one of my least favorites....

I have been there twice, both with family. The first time you go will be your best experience and you defiantly want to go with a big group of people you know. The food is good but the same you will get at any hibachi style eatery. Your experience is going to be based upon your cooks ability to entertain, if he is in the "mood" you'll have fun. if he is not or he is doing the shtick as he has done before, then your experience will be just so so.

Love this place. After eating at many sushi places in the USA I have put this at one of my top 3 for quality. I take all my foodie friends here. Must sit at the sushi bar for a special treat at the beginning of your meal. Try the hyland roll it's the best.

Awful! I had the shrimp roll and the rice was hard and stale. I also had a spider roll and it was undercooked and just kind of gross. Seaweed salad was good. The service was poor and I could barely understand my server. It was pricy as well. Finally, the loudest birthday celebration ever! They brought out these huge drums that made me nearly jump out of my seat. Just a bad experience overall.

I wasn't a huge fan of Fuji coming to town, because I'm extremely loyal to the only hibachi grill in town, Tokyo. I also prefer Shanghai Bistro's sushi over Fuji's. Their hibachi chefs actually have more flare and personality than Tokyo, but their food is subpar compared to its competitor. Don't get me wrong, it's not disgusting by any means... I'm just saying, if you're going for that type of food faire, there are better places to frequent.

We've been to a lot of Hibachi places before, but were blown away by this gem. The show was great, the staff was attentive, and the food was top notch. Had a great time!

This was probably one of the best sushi places I've been to. I came from out of town to visit a relative and decided to go here for lunch with my party. We ordered several rolls of sushi, sashimi, and some appetizers. The appetizers were tasty, but they only provided enough for one or two people. The calamari was nice and crunchy. The gyozas were tasty as well. The yakitori was well seasoned and tasty, but the portion was really tiny. Soups and salads were also served and those were fairly tasty. The sushi and sashimi tasted fresh and delicious. We also had fried eel over rice, which was really tasty. We left feeling really satisfied. The prices were decent.

Fairly decent. A good place to go on your birthday. The hibachi grill is fun. If you want a quieter experience you can sit at the booths. Average sushi.

Any place the shoots sake directly in your mouth (for free) gets 5 stars from me!! :D

1st visit: I really did NOT like their teppanyaki shrimp at all and since that was the reasons why I went there I am grading them on that. I ordered the shrimp dinner and only ate about 3 of the shrimp (I forced myself to eat the 3rd one even!), the rest eventually ended up in the garbage because no one else in my family wanted the leftovers. I ate the veggies and rice but didn't leave the place full by any means. I should have just stuck to the sushi and left it at that. I did order a California roll and that was great. Other things I noticed are that it is a very loud party like atmosphere. The cooks are very animated and charming, their utensil juggling skills are very good. They throw food around and I didn't exactly like seeing most of my dinner's potential broccoli end up on the floor because a patron continually missed the "broccoli-mouth toss" and the cook kept tossing until they finally caught it. They also will shoot liquid from their squirt bottles into mouths across the table. One dude from another table was lucky enough to be served his sake in this manner, though some did end up on his shirt to be sure. If you have a birthday they will make sure to create a spectacle with loud drums, some type of flute or whistle and singing and chanting. The building itself is beautiful. I like the lobby area and their little Koi pond, the Koi are young still and rather small, but it is pleasant to look at while you wait for your table. Other elements of the meal: Soup - ok, but Tokyo's soup is better. Salad - not as good and Tokyo's salad is WAY better (we used to buy their salad dressing even, but they don't allow that anymore) Shrimp - don't even! No contest! I will never come here for shrimp again. Sushi - good, I'll have to come back in the future to compare the rest of their sushi more in depth, but so far all I can comment on is the California roll. Soda - the Sprite was good ;) So bottom line, if you want a loud rambunctious party atmosphere and you want to eat sushi and just only tolerate the teppanyaki go ahead and come here, if you love shrimp and want to enjoy that for dinner head on over to Tokyo's. 2nd visit: Some friends invited us out to dinner and really wanted to try this place so we agreed to give it a second chance. I ordered the hibachi steak this time and I found that I actually liked it. So I've upgraded my original grade of 2 stars to 3 stars. This visit they changed it so that they were tossing bits of scrambled egg rather than the veggies. I personally don't like being forced to try to catch food and wish they made it easier for people to decline the food toss. I'm not sure that the egg is the right medium for that activity either, because they cook it in a lot of oil, and if you miss... ya you got oil stains on your clothing now. But I bet the egg is cheaper to to toss than the broccoli and probably the reason why they changed it to that. 2 pieces of shrimp came with my dinner, and I ate those and they were ok. Still they are not as good as Tokyos by any means, but they were better the 2nd time after I knew what to expect. I am willing to order steak in the future for dinner, so if we ever find ourselves back again that is what I will have.

I only went here once, and specifically for sushi, so I can't speak for the quality of their other dishes. The sushi was not very good. Very thin slices of sashimi, and too much rice with their nigiri sushi. Fish was noticeably not particularly fresh. Overall not very good sushi.

Excellent experience. Jeffrey was amazing and made the entire Hibachi meal not only delicious but fun. I would highly recommend!

In the past, Fuji has been okay for celebrations, making it very festive for any occasion for large parties. However, tonight's service was incredibly poor and unorganized. Celebrating Mother's Day with a large party of 16 should've been anticipated by a chain hibachi venue, but it was as if they weren't prepared at all. Our reservation was at 6:30 pm & as soon as we arrived they said they were just cleaning the grills. 35 minutes passed by and said the same thing - they're just cleaning the grills. Within 45 minutes we finally were seated by an unsmiling hostess & no apologies. No hot towels given & yet another long wait for drink orders, and 20 more minutes for chefs. The only good thing was the chefs were entertaining, as expected. However, the quantities of food served were very limited. It certainly did not make up for the long wait, nor did they consider we had small kids that were getting fussy and hungry. If you are extremely patient and want to pay $23 for 3 scallops and 4 small pieces of steak, this is the place for you. But it'll be a very long time before we ever step foot again at Fuji. Not worth it.

TRULY enjoyed our experience here! The food was very good, the staff very attentive, and the happy hour specials were GREAT!

Super reasonably priced. The prices allow you to take friends and family who may be hesitant about Sushi to try everything out. I'm fairly certain the adult beverages were good as well...I think most of us had at least 2 drinks which instigated craziness at Oakwood...ha. We have no idea how we got to that hippie store...mysterious like a unicorn. This is a great lunch place. Enjoyed my first bento box.

They serve two of my favorite foods...Steak and Sushi! They have table dining or you can choose to sit at one of the hibachi grills and watch your food prepared in front of you.
